Daisy Jewellery

Thanks to my (second) favourite "Made in Chelsea" star, next to Millie Macintosh, Binky Felstead I have found this lovely jewellery website, based in London Daisy Jewellery has Buddhist inspiration and has similar prices to Pandora and similar jewellers. Stars such as Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne have been spotted in Daisy pendants, it seems that this brand is becoming a celebrity craze. It has various different collections including the "Alpha" range which includes rings and bracelets with a single letter on, they are just beautiful and they definitely scream the next big thing, so I suggest everyone check it out. I love this one:

Mary Katrantzou and Current/Elliot

Now everyone knows that Mary Katrantzou is the print specialist of the moment, everyone wants one of her statement pieces. She said at her last show one of her critics said that he wonders what it would look like if Mary mixed some of her prints with denim. Mary took this idea as inspiration and approached the cult brand Current/Elliot with a collaboration in mind. "For Current/Elliot, we looked at stamped visas and passports" the designer revealed to Vogue. The collaboration has opened up both brands and spread them to reach a wider consumer, with the look having a more edgy and young feel, it brings something new to both companies and it is looking to be a sell-out success.

My favourite piece from the collection has to be the Apollo Dress:
The collection launched on 28th March on my-wardrobe.com this dress is £290

India Wishlist

So at the end of May me and a couple of my girl friends are going travelling around India, we are heading to Goa, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad, so naturally because i've never been outside Europe or America, I am a bit apprehensive, but mainly because I have no idea what I'm going to wear! But as usual, my best friend Miss Topshop comes to my rescue with their safari collection with bright colours and geometric patterns it definitely fits the bill, and these are my favourite pieces from that collection.

Grammys 2013 awards- Best Dressed Pair

Now we all know that Beyonce and Solange are possibly the best looking sisters in Hollywood but it seems that they have now been branded as the most stylish, both made the Vogue best dressed at the Grammys list and I think we all need to take a moment to appreciate this piece of fashion brilliance from the sisters. However I think Queen Bey triumphs over everyone yet again in this stunning monochrome jumpsuit.

Chanel's SS13 Collection

I've been a bit out of the loop over the holiday period, too much turkey and a assignments to finish off! So i was doing my fashion research on vogue's website yesterday and I've fallen in love with Chanel's new couture collection, if you haven't already seen it, it's like you're stepping into a Mid Summer Nights Dream, the contrast of the feminine structured suits and and the floaty dresses to the dark gothic make up and hair accessories is inspiring, especially in such a romantic setting.

This is my favourite dress from the collection, it looks like a costume from a Shakespeare set, I want it as my wedding dress!

New Year, New Trends

Now I have always been a Summer kind of girl, but I can't help but love winter fashion! Thick fur coats knee high leather boots, I just love it. Now I have been noticing a new winter trend creeping into the high street shops, blue. But not just any blue, Electric blue. It's such a rich colour, originally blue fabric could only be afforded by the monarchy because of the striking colours, it was not easily accessible. Maybe this is why bright blue is seen as so expensive looking and beautiful, especially in satin, I would cover my house in electric blue satin if I could! This is why I love this dress so much...

This dress is from Topshop £56 and well worth it! It looks absolutely stunning on, however I now have nothing to wear it too! But if I were you, I would invest in a lovely blue dress, the colour suits everyone and lets face it, it is beautiful.

Top Knot-ch

Sorry about the rubbish pun, but I do write a lot about fashion and news so I thought today was a good hair day, I've been in a lecture this morning full of fashion students, so I looked around to see what cool hairstyles I could see because naturally if you're looking for street style then fashion students are the people to look at, and what I saw was a lot of tight knot buns, I've seen these a lot recently in replace of the huge messy buns.
I have thin hair so a messy bun required a lot of backcombing and these top knots seem to be the solution.

Rocked recently by the young style queen Demi Lovato and sexy Kim Kardashian this look has trickled up from street style to celebs in the fastest time possible.

This is my interpretation of a slightly messier top knot that I have been sporting today.
