What are Hipsters?

So recently me and my friends have been having a discussion, the topic? What is a Hipster? My friend from Manchester had never even heard of it, and me and my friend from Birmingham had different opinions on what a Hipster is... Just now I was reading one of my favourite blogs fashioneditoratlarge one of the girls who run the blog has done a post about girl Hipsters and I completely agree with her!
It seems to me that to be a Hipster you need to add these items to your life...

A beanie hat, preferably Boy London, a notorious Hipster brand.

Hair dye that resembles the colour of a troll doll.

A lot of denim, a bowler hat and t shirts with triangles on.

A friend who doesn't mind taking posing selfies of you everyday.

Hipster is not a fashion trend, it is a tribe.

ASOS Beachwear

Everyone knows that when you go on holiday looking good on the beach is imperative, the celebrities are all wearing designer swimwear and I know not everyone can afford that (especially us students) so when I think about looking for designer looking swimwear, I always look to ASOS, their swimwear has without a doubt the most varied range of products whether you are looking for something cheap and simple or some designer gear for your hols, I'd definitely recommend looking on ASOS. These are some of my favourite pieces, I am also a big believer in beach accessorising and I always find gold jewellery looks the best.
All from ASOS:

Thanks Calum for the inspiration when I had blogger block :)

Project Jake

Right so I have a friend called Jake that lives in my building in Manchester, I've known him for a while now and we've been on various nights out and various times I have asked him to let me take him shopping. I should probably explain that Jake dresses like your dad and buys his clothes from Next or Debenhams, he was in desperate need of my help. So after a public Facebook plea to him, he finally agreed to let me take him! It was actually a success and he even let me take photos after to post on here for you all to see!

I'm quite proud of my selections, especially the Zara jacket and the nike blazers!

The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger TAG

My lovely best friend and blogger Jessie Wilson at jessiesstyleblog.blogspot.co.uk tagged me to do this blog post, it makes a nice change from the regular blogging.

The rules:
1. You must copy and paste these 'rules' onto your post when you write it, it doesn't take long!.
2. You must state that this tag was created by 'The Beau Bow' and link www.thebeaubow.blogspot.com
3. You must thank the person who tagged you at the start of your post (link their blog as well) -follow them if you're feeling nice!, and then at the end of your post state who you tag, and then comment on their blog on their latest post to let them know you tagged them, and link your post so they can see what to do.
4. Title this post 'The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger TAG' so everyone knows what it is about.
5. Have fun! :)

1. Name a Beauty Regime that you rarely do?
Moisturise- I know it's really bad and I really should do it but you know how it is, never have the time!

2. Is Washing Your Make-up Brushes Something you do Regularly?
I only really have a Mac eyeliner brush which I usually clean with a make-up wipe most times I use it.

3. How Long Will you Last with Chipped Nail Varnish
It depends on the nail varnish, if it's a rubbish one that only lasts a couple of days then I leave it on longer because I don't always have time to re-paint them every couple of days.

4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail polish product even if you need it? (i.e purchasing a new topcoat, or a new foundation etc.)
I would never buy products like foundation if I hand't run out of my current one unless it was bad for my skin, for example I bought a Mac one that gave me spots so I swapped back to No.7 but usually I replace products as soon as they run out.

5. What is Your Worst Beauty Habit?
Biting the skin around my nails! I don't know why I do it because I have never bitten my nails but I hate it because it always makes my fingers look horrible, I need to stop.

6. Name Something None Beauty Related you Put off Doing all the Time?
Revising, I should be revising for my end of first year exams right now but I always find something better to do.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?
If I'm really excited to go somewhere then I will get ready really early but on a normal night out I do leave it until the last minute yes.

8. Can you Commit to Spending Bans?
Ha no.

9. How organised is your makeup and nail polish collection?
I am not really the tidiest of people and I usually steal all my flat mate's nail polish but my make up I do keep in a make up bag so I don't lose it mainly.

10. What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a blog post?
A couple of months? I am not entirely sure actually. I did used to be quite lazy with it, I've definitely got better.

H&M Blazer

For ages I've wanted a white blazer but the Topshop ones are way to expensive. I didn't want to buy one that would rip or fall apart after 5 minutes, so when I went shopping today I was determined to find a nice one for not too much, so naturally the first place I went was H&M, slowly becoming my favourite shop since all of these amazing designer collaborations and I found the perfect one for only £29.99, I want to do an old school Miley Cyrus and wear it without a top or bra when I'm going out, hopefully it will look good with a bit of boob tape! The necklace is from New Look.

Offbeat Colours

I absolutely love this new Vogue affiliated trend of putting two unexpected contrasting colours together, in Vogue's "More Dash Than Cash" mini magazine, they use three examples. Navy and Eau De Nil, Neon Pink and Nude and Claret Red and Cream, I personally wouldn't go for the neon pink and nude just because it isn't really my style but I love the other two so I made a couple of collages or my selections.

Daisy Jewellery

Thanks to my (second) favourite "Made in Chelsea" star, next to Millie Macintosh, Binky Felstead I have found this lovely jewellery website, based in London Daisy Jewellery has Buddhist inspiration and has similar prices to Pandora and similar jewellers. Stars such as Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne have been spotted in Daisy pendants, it seems that this brand is becoming a celebrity craze. It has various different collections including the "Alpha" range which includes rings and bracelets with a single letter on, they are just beautiful and they definitely scream the next big thing, so I suggest everyone check it out. I love this one:
